Wildcats Battle Hard but Drop Close Game to Minot State

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey dropped a close 3-1 game vs. Minot State on Friday night. Wildcats opened up the goal scoring with a late first period goal scored by Connor Ziegler. Anthony Ciurro played well in net stopping 47 of the 50 shots he faced.

The Cats will be back in action tomorrow to battle the same Minot State Beavers at 1pm. The Wildcats will look to even the score against a very good Minot team.

The Wildcats hit the road next week to play one game on Thursday night vs. Grand Canyon University. Arizona will return home on January 21st and 22nd to battle the University of Las Vegas-Nevada, both games are slated for 7:30pm starts and will feature some of the best action in all of the ACHA.
