Wildcats Sweep Grand Canyon on Home Ice

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up a 5-3 win on Friday night and followed it up with a 4-3 win on Saturday afternoon. On Friday night the Wildcats were led by captain, Jesse Lowell, who scored two goals while Nicholas Chiocca also picked up two points on the night. Saturday afternoon the Cats saw Will Josephson and Tyler Shetland pick up a goal and an assist each. Goaltender, Niklas Seppanen, started both games for the Cats and walks away with two wins on the weekend.  

The Cats are on the road this upcoming week with games vs. University of Nevada-Las Vegas on Thursday and Friday night. This will be the first time these two teams match up this season and will continue the WCHL conference games the Wildcats are currently in.

The Wildcats will return home to take on the University of Oklahoma on November 3rd and 4th. Both games are set for 1pm starts and will be the first time the teams have matched up since the 2019-2020 season. The University of Oklahoma is currently 8-1 on the season with a game tonight vs. Colorado State.
