Match Up: #17 Arizona (5-5-0) will play host to #2 Arizona State University (11-0-0) on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the TCC. Arizona is currently ranked the highest the Wildcats have been since December 2006. Arizona State has their highest ranking in team history. Arizona enters the game after a weekend against #20 Eastern Michigan University. Despite placing 115 shots on net for the weekend, Arizona was only able to split with the Eagles. ASU is undefeated this season, and going back to last season, has only one loss in their last 18 games.
The weekend will also mark Arizona Hockey Alumni Weekend. Fans, friends, and alumni are encouraged to register for the Arizona Hockey Golf Outing on Friday morning at 10:00 am at Randolph Golf Course. Fans can also see the Alumni hockey game at 3:00 pm on Saturday at the TCC!

Scouting #2 ASU: The Sun Devils enter the weekend with a high scoring offense, averaging 7.27 goals a game and a mere 2.00 goals against. Upfront, Collin Heckle leads all scorers with 22 points on 11 goals and 11 assists in 11 games. Kale Dolinski and Stephen Collins are not far behind with 20 points and 19 points each. Newcomers Jordan Young and Brian McGinty are heavy contributors to ASU's workload with 17 and 18 points respectively. In net, Joe D'Elia has posted a 7-0-0 record and a .890 GAA.
Scouting #17 Arizona: Arizona has played all ranked opponents since opening the season at ACHA DII Northern Arizona, and according to the ACHA computer poll have played the second most difficult schedule in the nation. Arizona has played #2 ASU, #10 Illinois, #1 Ohio University and #20 Eastern Michigan, going 5-5-0 this season. The Wildcats have seen plenty of scoring from University of New Hampshire transfer Ansel Ivens-Anderson, who has posted seven goals and three assists. Captain Brian Slugocki has tallied 12 points on seven goals and five assists, while Andrew Murmes leads all scorers with 16 points on five goals and eleven assists. In net Steven Sisler has had a superb year thus far, posting a .900 save percentage and 3.26 GAA.
