The Wildcats cruised to a 8-3 victory over the NAU Ice Jacks in its home opener Friday night at the Tucson Convention Center. The Cats were led offensively by Kyle Fargesen who scored four goals. Coach Chad Berman was happy to see his team frequently find the back of the net, but acknowledged there's areas that need improvement. 

"We like to be explosive as you saw in the first when we scored three goals and when we responded in the third," Berman said. "Obviously its early in the year and there's some details we have to take care of."
