Despite a late surge to come within one goal with 26 seconds left, the Wildcats ultimately came up short and fell to No. 13 Colorado 4-3 Saturday night at the TCC arena. Dillon Balsamo, Christopher Westlund and John Hogan all provided goals for the Wildcats. Balsamo also added an assist.

"We found a way to hang around," coach Chad Berman said. "We'll take the close loss and find a way next time to get that extra one."

The Wildcats are back in action next weekend when they host Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma at the TCC.
