Despite a late-game effort to tie the score at 3 apiece, the Wildcats were unable to do it again as No. 5 Central Oklahoma pulled away and won 5-3 Friday at the TCC arena. Wildcat players to score included Dillon Balsamo, Orien Olsen and Toppie Hogan despite playing with a sore shoulder he injured last week.

"I thought we improved on some of the details we've been talking about," coach Chad Berman said. "I thought we had a chance tonight we just didn't do enough."

The Wildcats are back in action tomorrow against UCO at 2:00 p.m. at the TCC.
