The No. 20 Wildcats hockey team defeated Arkansas 8-3 Thursday at the Tucson Arena. UA received huge contributions from Mathew Armenti who scored two goals and Manny Roe -- who was named player of the game -- for his energizing play. Toppie Hogan and Jason Zaleski continued their recent hot surge by scoring a goal each.

"I thought we got to work and started to win small puck battles and built off that," Coach Chad Berman said. "We have a lot more to go."

The Wildcats will host Missouri State for a two-game set this weekend at the Tucson arena. Friday and Saturday's game will both be at 2 p.m.
