Toppie Hogan’s 2016-17 season will go down as one of the most impressive single season performances in Wildcat Hockey history; finishing the season with 33 goals and 34 assists, in only 33 games played!

Toppie was recently honored by his peers as Team MVP, after finishing runner up to Austin Wilson the year before.

The entire Wildcat nation is well aware of what an impressive player Toppie has been over the past couple of years and now the entire country is taking notice. The ACHA just announce that Toppie Hogan has been honored as the 2nd team ACHA All-American award winner; something that hasn’t been done by a Wildcat player in quite some time.

“Not since the days of Kelly Walker have we seen a player put up a season as impressive as Top’s,” said coach Berman. I am incredibly proud of the kid he is and the way he represents this hockey program and University. He exemplifies what hard work and determination can accomplish“

Toppie will still be in Tucson next year as he starts a new chapter in his life -- attempting to begin a very promising professional golf career – where once again, his work ethic and determination are bound to pay off.
