The Wildcats have added another forward to the 2017-18 recruiting class with the addition of skilled-playmaker: Trey Decker.

Decker, standing at 5’10” and 175-pounds, comes from Sunrise, AZ. Before taking a season off, Decker finished a productive junior career with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers of the EHL (Eastern Hockey League). In his final junior season he was able to tally 27 points in 35 games played; including: 11 goals and 16 assists.

"I am very excited to come back home," said Trey Decker. "I chose the U of A because of the high level of education and the chance to bring a National Championship to Tucson."

Decker joins the Wildcats from the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers along with other recent additions: Justin Plumhoff and Josh Larson.

“We are very excited to add another local player like Trey,” said Coach Berman. “Trey came highly recommended by Goltzy and it was clear that he fit the mold of what we are looking for here in our program. He has a real nice skill set and the determination required to fit our culture."

The addition of Trey Decker is the 5th forward added to the 2017-18 recruiting class.
