With only days from the start of another academic semester the Wildcats have added to their 2017/18 recruiting class with the late addition of Jake Dickison.

Dickison, standing at 6’0” 185- pounds, comes from Fairbault, MN. He will be a transfer player from NCAA DIII Gustavus Adolphus College. Before his time at Gustavus he played for Coach Therros in the NA3HL with the Yellowstone Quake - making him the second player in this class from the Quake organization. Before that, he played for Neepawa Naitives and Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

“Choosing to come to Tucson was an easy decision because it provides an environment for me to grow on and off the ice,” said Jacob Dickison. “I strive to be the kind of person the Wildcat community can look at as a positive figure. My goal is to help bring the Wildcats a National Championship.”

Dickison is a player that plays with elite speed and grit. He has an edge to his game that makes him very difficult to play against.

“We are really excited to add Jake,” said Coach Berman. “He has a chance to be elite within his role as a match up forward – shutting down the opponents top lines. His speed and grit are great tools for taking away time and space, making him difficult to play against.”

The wildcats will kick of their season on September 29th and 30th as they take on Grand Canyon University and Arizona State University.  Starting this season, all kids 13 and under can get tickets for $5!!!!
