SWEEPS MARYVILLE UNIVERSITY
WITH 5-2 WIN at TUCSON ARENA

TUCSON, AZ – University of Arizona Wildcats Hockey defeated Maryville University 5-2 Saturday afternoon at the Tucson Arena.

The win completed the two game sweep of the Saints, as the Wildcats also downed Maryville 6-1 Thursday night.

“We need to improve our compete level overall,” UA coach Chad Berman commented after the game. “We have to play better when we go back to league play next weekend, and tomorrow, too.”

Before Arizona takes on Arkansas at the Tucson Arena next Thursday night, they will host Grand Canyon University on Sunday, November 11 with a special 4pm afternoon puck drop.

Arizona improves to 11-3 on the season and is ranked #14 nationally.
