The University of Arizona provides one of the top college hockey experiences in the nation.
The University of Arizona Men's ACHA Hockey program participates in the Division I ranks of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The Arizona Hockey program provides one of the most unique and rewarding college hockey experiences in the nation. Arizona Wildcat Hockey prides itself in playing only the most elite of competition, including NCAA, Canadian Colleges and ACHA opponents. Arizona competes against Penn State University, Ohio University, University of Illinois, Iowa State University, Arizona State University, Davenport University and other elite teams from around the nation.
Arizona hockey offers a great opportunity for student athletes to compete while earning a degree from a nationally respected university.
Hockey at Arizona is played at a very high level. The roster is typically comprised of players who have played NCAA, Junior A, AAA, elite high school and prep school hockey. ACHA teams have competed well against their NCAA counterparts and in some cases have earned wins against NCAA Division I teams.
The Arizona Wildcat ACHA Hockey team plays all their home games at the historic Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, AZ, minutes from the Arizona campus. Home games typically draw anywhere from 3000-6500 fans a game. The Wildcats have their own dressing room at the TCC where players can store all their equipment.
