EARNS #9 SEED IN ACHA NATIONAL TOURNEY –
FACES LIBERTY UNIVERSITY

TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey is the #9 seed in the upcoming ACHA National Tournament. Their first opponent will be #8 seeded Liberty University, on Saturday, March 23 at 8:30 pm in Frisco (Dallas), Texas.

If Arizona defeats Liberty, then a showdown with #1 seed Lindenwood is possible for the next round. If Lindenwood advances to face Arizona, the Wildcats would face the #1 seeded team for the second year in a row at the National Tournament.

Arizona ended the regular season with a 31-7 mark, while capturing the Cactus Cup for a second consecutive year, and the WCHL Championship for the first time. Arizona won the national championship in hockey in 1985.
