DOMINATES 2018-19 WCHL AWARDS

TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey dominates the Western Collegiate Hockey League end of season awards for 2018-19 with three All-League, first team selections.

Arizona forwards Bayley Marshall and Anthony Cusanelli lead the first team All-League list, along with Wildcat netminder Anthony Ciurro.

Marshall also nabbed the WCHL Most Valuable Player Award, while Arizona Head Coach Chad Berman earned the Coach Of The Year honor for 2018-19.

The WCHL annual awards are determined by vote of the head coaches from each of the eight league teams.

University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey is the #9 seed in the upcoming ACHA National Tournament. Their first opponent will be #8 seeded Liberty University, on Saturday, March 23 at 8:30 pm in Frisco (Dallas), Texas.

Arizona ended the regular season with a 31-7 mark, while capturing the Cactus Cup for a second consecutive year, and the WCHL Championship for the first time. Arizona won the national championship in hockey in 1985.
