at the ACHA National Tournament

Tucson, Ariz -- University of Arizona Hockey will send its media team to cover the 2019 ACHA National Tournament in Frisco (Dallas), Texas.

UA media student Victor Garcia will travel with the voice of Wildcat Hockey, Timothy Gassen, to produce daily video packages for YouTube,  Facebook, and Twitter. Coverage will include practice sessions, pre-game, intermission and post-game interviews -- and game look-ins.

#9 Arizona starts the ACHA Tournament against #8 Liberty on Saturday, March 23 at 6:30 pm (Tucson time). 

UA Hockey Media coverage will begin on Thursday, March 21 and continue through the tournament. Game Day coverage begins 30 minutes before puck drop.

Victor Garcia is set to earn his undergraduate degree in journalism this semester. Timothy Gassen is a three-decade video, film, journalism, and hockey professional who recently won another Arizona Press Club Award for his sports column in the Arizona Daily Star newspaper. He serves as Media Director for University of Arizona Hockey and will also issue press releases for media use throughout the tournament.
