The Wildcats didn’t waste any time, adding the first player to their 2019/20 recruiting class with the addition of puck-moving defensemen, Cameron Teamor.

Teamor, standing at 5’10” 185-pounds comes from South Bend, Indiana and has spent the last three seasons in the NAHL (North American Hockey League) playing for the Brookings Blizzard and Maryland Black Bears. Before his time in the NAHL he developed in the Chicago Mission program and Culver Military Academy.

“I chose Arizona because of the academics and opportunity the University provides,” said Cameron Teamor, “The culture there is like no other place, I can wait to get started.”

Teamor was named as a team captain of the Black Bears as they were kicking off their inaugural season in the NAHL. Teamor had a very productive 3 years in the NAHL tallying 45 points (7 goals, 38 assists) in 138 games played.

“We are really excited to add Cam to our mix next season,” said coach Berman. “He fits everything we look for in a defensemen. He’s a very mobile, puck-moving ‘D’ that will only add you our quick transition game. Not to mention, he will be another great addition to our championship caliber culture as a high-character kid with a strong work ethic. Cam has the ability to step in and make an immediate impact, I’m excited to get to work with him.”
