The Arizona Wildcats hockey program is proud to announce the hiring of Tanner Harris as the new Wildcat Hockey Coordinator.

Tanner Harris, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, recently graduated with an accounting degree from the University’s own Eller College of Management.

For the past three years Tanner has passionately pursued a career in hockey - gaining a wide variety of experience amongst the Tucson hockey community - including serving as the student coordinator for the UA Hockey program with a focus on operations and community relations. During the 2018-19 season, Tanner played a major role in contributing towards the Arizona Wildcat Hockey program’s community service efforts in a season which we were national recognized for two ACHA Community Service Awards (ACHA Men’s Division 1 Community Service Award & the ACHA Overall Community Service Award). This was the second time in the past three seasons the UA Hockey program has been nationally recognized by the ACHA for our community service commitment and dedication!

In addition to working for the UA Hockey program, Tanner spent the last two years serving as an intern with the Tucson Roadrunners working in media relations. He also spent time covering the Roadrunners for the Daily Wildcat (UA Newspaper) during their inaugural season.

Tanner brings valuable experience and familiarity with the University of Arizona hockey program. He will be a tremendous asset as the program continues to be one of the fastest rising hockey programs in the ACHA!
