November 7, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey answered back from overtime loss over Arizona State with a huge 5-4 win over Central Oklahoma. Down 2-1 heading into the third period, the Cats, scored 4 goals in the period to come out victorious. The Wildcats were led by Bayley Marshall and Justin Plumhoff who had a goal and an assist each on the night. Arizona goaltender, Anthony Ciurro, earned the win stopping 37 of 41 shots.

When asked about final thoughts of the game head coach, Chad Berman, said “Anytime you can get points for that team it is huge. No we need to shift our focus to a quick turnaround with a tough Oklahoma team coming tomorrow.”

The Wildcats will be back in action Friday at 1PM to take on Oklahoma University (OU) in another WCHL conference game. The Wildcats defeated OU back in October on the road from a lone goal from Matthew Hohl. Goaltender, Anthony Ciurro, picked up the shutout in the victory.
