Anthony Ciurro: 2019/20 ACHA Men’s Division 1 Honorable Mention All-Athletic Team

Anthony Ciurro, from Peoria, AZ., is quickly climbing the ranks as one of the best goaltenders in Wildcat hockey history, drawing comparisons to Wildcat Alumnus, Don Carlson (1988-92).

Ciurro stormed onto the scene, earning the start in goal as a freshman during the 2017/18 ACHA National Tournament in Columbus, Ohio.  And he did NOT disappoint, as he was recognized on the ACHA All-Tournament Team Honorable Mention. The following season was his “breakout year,” where he was recognized as the conference’s best goaltender, being named on the WCHL 1st Team All-Conference. Now, at the conclusion of his junior year, he has repeated the same claim, however, this time he has further added to his resume as the WCHL M.V.P. and ACHA Men's Division 1 Honorable Mention All-Athletic Team.

Anthony Cusanelli: 2019/20 ACHA Men’s Division 1 Honorable Mention All-Athletic Team

Team captain, Anthony Cusanelli, better known as "Cus," to his teammates, has only added to an already impressive resume at the University of Arizona. Yet again, he has been named WCHL 1st team All-Conference.

Cusanelli came to the Wildcats after a very successful junior career with the New Jersey Titans of the (NAHL) North American Hockey League.

Cusanelli is considered one of the premier "snipers" in the ACHA, with an ability to score form anywhere in the zone. He stormed onto the national scene as a Freshman winning a full shelf of individual awards and hasn’t looked back since. You may recall last season he was named the first ever player in Arizona Wildcat history to represent team USA in the World University Games, which took place in Krasnoyarsk, RUS.

As team captain, Cus has lead his team to 2 consecutive WCHL Conference Championships, 3 consecutive Cactus Cups, and is one of the major focal points of the Wildcat programs turnaround.

Cameron Teamor: ACHA Men’s Division 1 All-Rookie Team

Cameron Teamor, from South Bend, Indiana came to the Wildcats as a highly regarded freshman. His first season did nothing to disappoint, landing him on the WCHL All-Rookie Team. Prior Wildcat winners of the WCHL All-Rookie Team include Anthony Cusanelli and Bayley Marshall.

Teamor came to the Wildcats after a very strong junior career with the Brookings Blizzard and Maryland Black Bears in the (NAHL) North American Hockey League.
