The Arizona Wildcat hockey program recently accomplished their team goal of finishing the 2020 fall semester with a team GPA of 3.00 or greater with an impressive 3.25 team GPA!

Additionally, the Wildcats were recently recognized by the ACHA as an honorable mention for the 2019/20 ACHA Men’s Division 1 Community Service Award.

The Wildcats have been nationally recognized by the ACHA for their community service efforts twice in the last three years. In both years, they won the ACHA Men’s Division 1 Community Service award as well as the ACHA Overall Community Service Award (which consists of all ACHA men’s AND women’s Division 1, 2 and 3 hockey programs).

The American Collegiate Hockey Association announced the winners of the association’s annual Community Service Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to their local community and/or charitable organizations and representation of the ACHA during the 2019-2020 season.   As part of its Community Services program, the ACHA honored one club from each of the ACHA’s five divisions for activities done as a team. This year’s ACHA Men’s Division 1 winner goes to Midland University and the Overall ACHA Award winner goes to Lakehead University Women’s Division 2 team.
