Wildcats Sweep Grand Canyon for 6th Straight Win

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey completed the sweep of Grand Canyon on Saturday afternoon winning 5-2. Arizona capitian, Jesse Lowell, led by example throwing big hits and scoring a hat trick in front of the home fans. Forward, Dylan Walker, picked up three assists in the game; forwards, Brody Selman and Ryan Malko each scored a goal. Goaltender, Niklas Seppänen picked up the win, his first win on home ice as a Wildcat.
The Cats are back in action December 2nd and 3rd to take on Arizona State. The Wildcats will look to build off an early November sweep of Arizona State that started the six game winning streak. Both Friday and Saturday games are set for 7:30pm starts and promise to bring hard hitting action in the biggest rivalry games in the ACHA.
The Wildcats head for winter break following the Arizona State games but will be back for plenty more in the Spring semester. The Wildcats will play four games vs. UNLV who currently sit #2 in the ACHA, as well as four more vs. Arizona State, two vs. Missouri State, Coyotes Alumni, and close out the season with two vs. UCLA. The Wildcats will continue to prepare for the ACHA National Tournament coming up in March this year held in Boston, MA.
