Wildcats Win 7th Straight vs. Arizona State

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up another 4-1 win over Arizona State to extend their winning streak to 7 games. Dylan Walker started the scoring off in the second period, the Wildcats would follow up with two power play goals in the third from John Shivley and Brody Selman. Ryan Malko would get the nail in the coffin goal late in the game to propel the Cats to victory. Goaltender Nolan Bivolcic picked up the win turning aside 17 of the 18 shots he faced.  

The Cats are back in action tomorrow night, December 3rd, for the final game of the Fall semester. Arizona State is back in town and the Cats have a chance to clinch their 6th straight Cactus Cup. Arizona is a perfect 3-0 vs. Arizona State this season only allowing 2 goals in the three games and scoring 10 of their own. Puck drop is set for 7:30pm at the Tucson Convention Center Arena.

The Wildcats will be back in the new year with games at home vs. UNLV. The Cats still have plenty of homes games left including a set vs. Missouri State, Arizona Coyotes Alumni, Arizona State and UCLA. All home games are played at the Tucson Convention Center Arena, and feature some of the most hard hitting college hockey action in all of Arizona.
