Wildcats Drop Tough Home Series Vs. UNLV

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey dropped the first two games of the second semester to a tough UNLV team. UNLV came into the weekend ranked #5 in the ACHA and the Wildcats ranked #15. Arizona received goals from Jesse Lowell and Tyler Shetland this weekend, and saw Nicholas Chiocca and Sam Myers make their ACHA debut.

The Cats are back in action next Friday and Saturday night at the University of Utah. The Wildcats will look for a bounce back weekend at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex, both games are set for 7:30pm starts.

The Wildcats will be back home on Friday January 27th at 7:30pm to take on Missouri State University. This game will be the 8th annual Pink the Rink game, where fans can purchase a pink jersey for $250 and put the name of a loved one on the back. At the conclusion of the game the players will line up and give those that purchased a jersey their new pink jersey and take a photo. The Wildcats will have a quick turnaround following the 27th and will play Missouri State again on the 28th at 1pm.
