Wildcats Pink the Rink and Light the Lamp in 7-3 Win

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey won big on the 8th annual Pink the Rink night with a 7-3 victory over Missouri State. Arizona forwards Dominic Sandoval and Ryan Malko each scored two goals in the win while Ryan Fischer, Jerrett Overland, and Tyler Shetland each had two points on the night. Goaltender Nolan Bivolcic turned away 25 of 28 shots in the victory.

The Cats are back in action on Saturday at 1pm to battle the same Missouri State Ice Bears. The Cats will be looking for a repeat performance of Friday night in the final 1pm game of the season.

The Wildcats head up to Phoenix after Saturday to take on Arizona State at Mullett Arena in the first ACHA men’s division 1 game played at the new arena. The Wildcats do have a chance to clinch the Cactus Cup for a 5th straight season with one more victory over ASU. The Cats will have 4 more games vs. ASU this season including two at the TCC taking place on February 25th and 26th.
