Wildcats Return to Winning Ways on Home Ice

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up a 1-0 win on Friday night vs. #19 Arizona State. The Wildcats have already clinched the Cactus Cup this season after winning 5-2 on the road at Oceanside Ice Arena. Wildcats forward, Sam Myers, picked up the only goal and point on the night with an unassisted power play goal in the 2nd period. Goaltender, Nolan Bivolcic, picked up the win and 2nd shutout of the season vs. ASU stopping all 26 shots faced.
The Cats are back in action on Saturday at 7:30pm to close out the regular season vs. Arizona State. The Cats are 5-1-1 against ASU this season, and will look to end on a high note with another win vs. their rival to the north.
The Wildcats have one more home game before the National Tournament that will take place on March 10th vs. the Arizona Coyotes Alumni. This game will feature some of the great NHL talents of the past and will provide a very relaxed, fun, and family environment.
