Wildcats Closeout Regular Season with a Win!

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up a 6-4 victory on Saturday night vs. Arizona State to close out the regular season. The Wildcats celebrated the six graduating seniors prior to the start of the game including #3 Chris Hedgecoke, #9 Cameron Teamor, #13 Matt Hohl, #23 Josh Lusby, #26 Duke Litwin and #35 Nolan Bivolcic.

The Wildcats brought the scoring early in the game putting up two in the first period and late in the game adding four in the third period. Senior forward Josh Lusby picked up two goals in the game, forwards, Sam Myers and Jaxon Mase, both picked up two points in the game and defenseman, Cameron Teamor, finished with three assists. Goaltender Nolan Bivolcic picked up his 11th win of the season stopping 26 of the 30 shots he faced.

The Cats will be back at the TCC for one more home game before the ACHA National Tournament vs. the Arizona Coyotes Alumni on March 10th. This game will provide a fun and family friendly atmosphere and include some great NHL talents of the past.
