Wildcats Get First Win of the Season Over Utah

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up a 5-4 win Friday night over WCHL conference team, University of Utah. The Cats started the offense with Jerrett Overland getting his first of the season, but would find themselves down 2-1. In a 1 minute and 11 seconds span the Cats would add two goals to take the lead. Arizona would eventually add two more to pick up their first win of the season. Arizona captain, Jesse Lowell, was the player of the game with 1 goal, 1 assist, and a physical presence on the ice.
The Cats are back in action on Saturday at 7:30pm to take on the same University of Utah Utes. The Wildcats, now with a record of 1-1-0 have an opportunity to pick up their second win of the season and some conference points.
The Wildcats are off to Tempe, AZ next Friday night at 7pm for an exhibition game vs. ASU NCAA D1 program. The Cats are looking forward to the experience, and the test of a division 1 team. To stay up to date on all Wildcat hockey action be sure to follow us on all our social media platforms.
