Wildcats Sweep Utah with a 7-1 Statement Victory

Tucson Ariz.- University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey picked up a 7-1 win Saturday night over the University of Utah to complete the weekend sweep. Forward, Tyler Shetland, started the offense early in the 1st period with a unassisted goal. Shetland would continue to contribute finishing the night with 5 points including his first ACHA hat trick. Forward, Dylan Walker, would also end the night with 5 points putting in two goals and picking up three assists. Goalie, Niklas Seppanen, picked up his second win of the season in spectacular fashion stopping all but one shot.
The Wildcats are off to Tempe, AZ next Friday night at 7pm for an exhibition game vs. ASU NCAA D1 program. The Cats are looking forward to the experience, and the test of a division 1 team. To stay up to date on all Wildcat hockey action be sure to follow us on all our social media platforms.
Following an off week the Wildcats will return home to take on Grand Canyon University. The Cats split the season series 2-2 with the Lopes last year and will look to keep the good times rolling at home. The Cats are set to face the Lopes at 7:30pm on October 20th and 1pm on October 21st.
