Flagstaff, AZ The #20 Wildcats defeated NAU 5-1 on Friday night. The story of the game was special teams for Arizona as they held the NAU Ice Jacks to 0-13 on the power play and added a shorthanded goal by Alex O'Dea.

"While we are not pleased with the amount of penalties we took, we obviously need to address our discipline, it was good to get a win in the opener," stated head coach Sean Hogan.

Arizona received goals from Ansel Ivens-Anderson (2), Brennen Parker, Alex O'Dea and Robbie Wilkinson. 

Dylon Hojnacki started in net and earned the win.
