Wildcats Play Host to Oklahoma Schools

Match Up: Arizona will play host to two ranked opponents this weekend, starting on Thursday night against #6 Oklahoma, then Friday and Saturday versus #11 Central Oklahoma. The games will also count in WCHL league standings.

Scouting #6 Oklahoma (16-3-3): Oklahoma has only three regulation losses on the season, one of those are to the Wildcats. Arizona swept the Sooners in Oklahoma City, OK early in the season, winning in overtime on Friday night and upending Oklahoma in regulation on Saturday night. The Sooners are led upfront by former NCAA Division I transfer from Penn State, Bryce Johnson with 38 points. In net, Nick Holmes has a .920 save percentage and a 2.02 GAA.

Scouting #11 UCO (18-7-3): The Bronchos defeated Arizona 8-1 on an early season Wildcat road trip; Arizona finished the trip with two wins and one loss. Upfront, Riley Spraggs has tallied 35 points this season, while Mike Rivera and Seth Corey have contributed 29 points each. Tory Caldwell has held his ground between the pipes with a .910 save percentage and a 2.43 GAA.

Scouting #14 Arizona (10-12-0): Arizona just finished playing an elite opponent in York University. York's roster boasted an NHL Draft pick, and several players with professional hockey experience as high as the AHL. The Wildcats are led by Andrew Murmes with 32 points. Shane Gleason leads the defensemen with 22 points. In net, Steven Sisler has posted a .890 save percentage and a 3.87 GAA.
