Despite a hard fought effort, Arizona failed to produce a single goal against Northern Arizona University at the Jay Lively Activity Center (Ice Arena) this past Saturday.
NAU forward Kirby Carlson scored the game’s lone goal with 8:54 remaining in the third period.
With such a tight contest throughout the 60 minutes, Arizona head coach Chad Berman was frustrated by the goal the team allowed.
“The goal we gave up was from a blown assignment in our fore-check and we didn’t pick up the man on the weak side. There is no excuse for our performance, changes will be made immediately.”
