Continuing a post-Christmas break tradition, the Wildcat Hockey team went on a seven mile team hike up Blackett’s Ridge Trail. The trail reaches an elevation of 1500 feet and overlooks the Coronado National Forest near the Bear Canyon trailhead. Upon reaching the summit, the boys were able to take in the view of Thimble Peak to the Northeast and amazing views of Phoneline Trail below.

“As a hockey program I think we do a great job of student engagement and providing an unbelievable experience for these kids,” said Coach Berman. “There is no program in the country that can offer the kind of lifestyle, hockey experience, and education that we do here at the University of Arizona. We have kids from all over North America come to be a part of our proud tradition. I see it as a responsibility to show the boys all that Tucson, Arizona has to offer!”
