The Wildcats are proud to introduce their newest commitment, Manny Rowe, a versatile, fast-skating forward/defensemen from Phoenix, Arizona.

Rowe comes to the Wildcats after spending his junior career as the captain of the Syracuse Stampede in the NA3HL, where he posted 7 goals and 22 assists as a defensemen. Before his time with the Stampede he played for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers in the EHL.

Standing at 6'0" and 185 lbs., Rowe developed his early career as a member of the Mission Hockey program, where he was recently inducted into the 2015 Mission Hockey Hall of Fame ( The Mission are coached by Wildcat alum, Jeremy Goltz.

"I grew up hearing about my coach Jeremy Goltzy playing at U of A and I knew that's where I wanted to play college hockey," said Manny Rowe. "I Couldn't think of a better way to spend 4 years playing hockey in the sun. I'm happy to be apart of the uprising of the wildcat hockey."

Rowe has had a sterling reputation of a player with exemplary character. While playing for the Syracuse Stampede last season the NA3HL published an article highlighting this on their league website: (

“We are very excited to add player of Manny’s character to our locker room, said Coach Berman. “Our mission is to continue building upon the championship culture we want to establish in our program. Our intent with this recruiting class was to add speed and depth to our roster, both of which he provides. Manny is a kid we can use up front or on the back end and will make us a faster transition team. He came highly recommended by Goltzy and was a ‘no brainer’ as far as a kid who would come in here with a wining attitude.”
