TUCSON, AZ – University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey will leave their usual Tucson Arena home-ice to play three “home games” at the AZ ICE arena in Gilbert, Arizona.

On Thursday, October 12 Arizona takes on Missouri State (puck drops at 7 pm); on Friday, October 13 Arizona battles Arkansas (puck drops at 7 pm); and on Saturday October 14 Arizona concludes the Gilbert series with a final game vs Arkansas (1:15 pm puck drop).

All three games are against Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL) foes, and count in the league standings.

The Arizona Wildcats are undefeated at 3-0 early in this 2017-18 college hockey season, ranked #16 in the latest national American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) poll.

Game tickets are available at the AZ ICE Gilbert arena, 2305 E. Knox Road, in Gilbert, Arizona – and fans should check back at the team’s web site at www.arizonawildcathockey.org for online ticket availability.

“We hope University of Arizona alumni and fans in the wider Phoenix area will take this opportunity to see Wildcat hockey,” said head coach Chad Berman. “We want to continue to develop the Arizona Wildcat college hockey name throughout the state of Arizona, and we look to stage more ‘home’ games in future seasons outside of Tucson.”
