Arizona finished its regular season with a 23-12-2 record, highlighted by their Cactus Cup victory of rivals Arizona State. The Wildcats finished third this season in the Western Collegiate Hockey League.

Arizona’s last appearance in the ACHA National Tournament was in 2016, where the team won its opening game in overtime to secure its first win in the tournament in more than a decade.

Arizona seeks its second hockey National Championship. It won its first hockey national title in 1985.
