Wildcat Hockey is proud to announce its fourth forward to their 2018/19 recruiting class with the addition of skilled-forward, Cully Oslen!

Cully, standing at 6’3” 175-pounds, comes from Minnetrista, MN. He is the younger brother of three-year captain and recent Wildcat Hockey Alum, Orion Olsen.

Before taking last season off to be a full time student at the University of Denver, Cully enjoyed a successful season with The Blake Bears (Minnesota Prep School), where he tallied 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) in 27 games played.

“After watching Orion play hockey at the U of A for the past four years, the program has continued to grow each year,” said Cully Olsen. I’m excited to see what’s next and to join a great group of guys!”

Orion was a very physical, versatile player - playing both forward and defense during his time with the Wildcats - and was a natural leader due to his contagious passion for winning. Cullly is considered to be a more skilled forward with a lot of offensive upside. Regardless, coach Berman seems to like the bloodlines.

“Cully is a very intriguing prospect with an unlimited ceiling,” said coach Berman. “On the surface, its easy to get excited about his skill-set. Additionally, I know he comes from a great family, so I know exactly the kind of character we are adding into our culture. If he has half the competitive fire and determination of his brother, we may have just added something very special.”
