#11 ARIZONA WILDCATS HOCKEY
SWEEPS #9 MISSOURI STATE

TUCSON, Ariz. – The #11 University of Arizona Wildcats completed the sweep of #9 Missouri State University with a 3-0 win Saturday night at the Tucson Arena.  Wildcats goals came from Ethan Stahlhuth, Bayley Marshall, and Josh Larson.  Goaltender Anthony Ciurro earned the shutout.

Arizona is now in second place of the Western Collegiate Hockey League standings.  They are just two points behind league leader University of Central Oklahoma.  UCO comes to Tucson to face the Wildcats during the second semester of play. 

“These were three character building games,” said Arizona Head Coach Chad Berman. “I have been waiting five years to give a top ten ranking to the fans.” 

Arizona expects to rise into the top ten in the next ACHA weekly national rankings.

The Wildcats take a break for Thanksgiving and return to the Tucson Arena on Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1 to face arch rival Arizona State University.  The puck drops at 7:30 pm both nights.
