TUCSON, Ariz – University of Arizona Wildcats Hockey hosts #13 University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Saturday, January 12 and Sunday, January 13 at the Tucson Arena.

NOTE: Puck-drop for the Saturday game is 1pm; puck-drop for the Sunday game is 4 pm.

“UNLV is one of the other premiere ACHA programs in the west,” said head coach Chad Berman. “These tough games prepare us as we challenge for a spot in the national tournament. This is a big test for us, and we need Wildcat fans to get to the TCC and show their support.”

#7 Arizona boasts an 18-4 record and is tied for first place in the Western Collegiate Hockey League.

Saturday’s game is also the popular “Pucks For Paws” event, in support of homeless pets at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Bring your dog on a leash to the game (doggie tickets are $5), and howl for the Cats!

Sunday is our “Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports Day,” helping to raise awareness for competitive and recreational sports opportunities in Tucson for those with disabilities. Members of Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports, including wheelchair basketball, tennis, and cycling teams will be available to discuss opportunities for Tucsonans to join their sports programs.
