TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey defeated the University of Utah 11-0 Sunday afternoon at the Tucson Arena to complete the two game home sweep of the Utes. Arizona won Saturday’s game 10-1.

Wildcat goals were scored by Cam Armstrong, Bayley Marshall, Chris Westlund, Cully Olsen, Justin Plumhoff, Justin Dungey, Max Meyer, Joey Trapp – and a hat trick (three goals) for Freshman Vail Ardizzone.

“It is important that we took care of business on home ice,” said Head Coach Chad Berman. “We have huge league games coming up this next week and we need to fire on all cylinders for the remainder of the regular season.”

Arizona remains in first place of the Western Collegiate Hockey League, with league rivals Colorado State visiting the TCC this Thursday, January 31 (puck drops at 7:30 pm) and Colorado this Friday & Saturday, February 1 and 2 (puck drops at 1 pm both days.)
