ARIZONA WILDCATS HOIST CACTUS CUP
IN 4-0 WIN OVER ASU

TUCSON, AZ – The University of Arizona Wildcats defeated the Arizona State University Sun Devils
4-0 Friday night at the Tucson Arena. Arizona goals were scored by Ethan Stahlhuth and Kyle Wade, each with two.
With the win on Friday night, the Arizona Wildcats secured the Cactus Cup, the trophy awarded annually to the winner of the season long series between the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. The Wildcats’ win on Friday marked their fifth win over ASU this season in as many games.
“Winning the Cactus Cup is what we expect to do,” said Head Coach Chad Berman. “Next weekend we are going after a conference championship.”
The Wildcats face off against Arizona State University again on Sunday, February 24 in their final home game of the season. The puck drops at 4:00 pm at the Tucson Arena.
Following Sunday’s game, the Wildcats will play two more games against the same Arizona State University team Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 in Tempe. A win in either game will secure the Western Collegiate Hockey League championship for the Wildcats.
